The John D.Spicer was launched at 20.30 Thursday night to a report from Holyhead Coastguard of a 36 foot fishing vessel with machinery failure. The casualty vessel 'Alice' was approx 2 miles South West from the Caernarfon Bar, with 4 persons on board. Porthdinllaen lifeboat towed the craft back to the Slate Quay in Caernarfon, before returning to the boathouse in Porthdinllaen by 23.30.
