The Boat - '47-015 Hetty Rampton' |

| 'Hetty Rampton is a 47ft x 15ft, steel hulled, "Tyne Class", self righting,
lifeboat, driven by two 425h.p. General Motors 6V - 92 TI Diesel engines giving a top speed of 18 knots.
She has been in service at Porthdinllaen since April 27th 1987 after being built at a cost of
approximately £560,000 by Fairey Allday Marine at Cowes in the Isle of Wight. The money was provided out of a
gift from the Trustees of the Miss Hetty Mabel Rampton's Charitable Trust and it was fitting that, at the service of
Dedication conducted by the Bishop of Bangor assisted by Rev E.Wheldon, the vicar of Nefyn, Hetty Rampton's neice a
