Porthdinllaen Lifeboat

At 02:29hrs  Hetty Rampton was launched together with Holyhead lifeboat to a report from HMCG that a fisherman had gone missing from a fishing vessel 10mls north west of Porthdinllaen. On the scene were 4 fishing vessels conducting a search. Both lifeboats were tasked to search alongside all vessels towards Holyhead, at 03:50hrs Trearddur Bay Lifeboat and the Inshore Lifeboat from Holyhead also joined the search. The search continued all day from South Stack towards Bardsey Island. Unfortunally nothing was found and the search was called off at 15:15hrs by HMCG. The  lifeboat returned to station at 16:30hrs.
